Travelling
from Carmarthen in the West.
Join the A484 and head towards Llanelli you will by-pass Kidwelly then after
several kilometers enter the village of Pembrey stay on A484 until you see
the sign which indicates you are entering Burry Port approx 1/2 Km from this
sign you will pass a car sales on your left and short distance further on you
pass another garage on your right, at this point the road start up a small
hill you will pass Jarusalem Chapel on your left and will see a Pelican
Crossing on the top of the hill. After the Chapel and before the Pelican
crossing there is a road turning to the left and one to the right, take the
right turn and follow it bearing left down the hill, you are in Stepney Rd,
follow this road until you pass a school on your right then take the first
left behind the War Memorial this is Parc y Minos. The Memorial Hall is the
red brick building on your left with the clock, go past the front of the Hall
and turn left down the side when you reach the back wall turn left again walk
the width of the hall and the Pensioners Hall is on your left.
Travelling
from Llanelli in the East
Take the A484 towards Carmarthen stay on this Road until you the large Burry
Port sign travel approx 1Km until you come to the large petrol station on the
left at the garage take the turning left the B4311which is just before the
garage follow this road past the church on the left and down the hill bear
right at the bottom follow this road to the railway station turn right at the
station you are travelling up Stepney Rd, look out on the right hand side for
a telephone kiosk, at the kiosk turn right at the end of this short road and
slightly to the left in front of you is The Memorial Hall the red brick
building with the clock, go down the right hand side when you reach the back
wall turn left again walk the width of the hall and the Pensioners Hall is on
your left.
By
Bus,Train or on foot
Get to the railway station standing outsite the Station facing North you are
looking up StepneyRoad. Start to walk up Stepney Road past the Stepney Grill
on your left, look out on the right hand side for a telephone kiosk, at the
kiosk turn right at the end of this short road and slightly to the left in
front of you The Memorial Hall is the red brick building with the clock, go
down the right hand side when you reach the back wall turn left again walk
the width of the hall and the Pensioners Hall is on your left.
